I encountered Tío Rot in Plaza de Sant Jaume when he was conducting his performance, and it turns out that he has been doing social performances in Barcelona for more than 30 years. His performances are conducted on different social topics, including over-tourism, technology, life inconveniences of the elders, and so on.
To me, Tío Rot, is such a philosopher, as he keeps noticing society, spots phenomena that can be concerning enough for the current and the future, and finds his way of communicating these concerns to the public. He has always been active in an artistic way to help the city where he lives, to grow in different aspects, to challenge social conformity, and to provoke thoughts among the ones who see his performances.
This project presents several social performances of Tío Rot in different spots of Barcelona, trying to communicate various messages to the public in a humorous way.
